EyeC launches cloud-based Proofiler Graphic Connect for prepress inspection

EyeC has introduced Proofiler Graphic Connect, a fully cloud-based prepress inspection solution designed to automate quality control and streamline approval processes. The SaaS platform enables high-precision PDF-to-PDF comparisons, allowing prepress teams to detect deviations between print-ready files and approved references earlier in the workflow.

Built for packaging and graphic arts applications, the system checks graphic content, barcodes and Braille across client, print and imposition PDFs. By identifying errors at the prepress stage, Proofiler Graphic Connect helps reduce manual inspection effort while improving accuracy and speeding up approvals.

The platform integrates directly with workflow systems such as HYBRID Software Cloudflow and Esko Automation Engine via a REST API, enabling fully automated inspection without user intervention. Results are fed back into the workflow environment, where operators can review, approve and continue production without switching systems. A browser-based interface also supports real-time collaboration and centralized tracking of inspection results, creating a continuous digital audit trail.
